Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at the courthouse — your presence made a powerful impact. We are thrilled to share that we have already gathered 1,600 signatures on our petition. But we’re not stopping there!

We will continue collecting signatures until January 7, 2026, and every additional name strengthens our message and momentum.

JANUARY 6TH MARCH

PLEASE JOIN US IN PERSON

 Your involvement is vital, and your commitment truly makes a difference.

This is an important reminder to join us ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 6TH at 4:30 PM for our march around the historic Moore County Courthouse, located at 1 Courthouse Square in Carthage. Your presence sends a strong message that our community demands meaningful change. Signs will be provided for you.

At 5:15 PM, we will head inside to the 2nd floor to attend the public comment session of the County Commissioners meeting, which begins at 5:30 PM. While you are not required to speak, your presence is essential. A strong turnout demonstrates the community’s unwavering support for transitioning Animal Services into a standalone department led by an experienced animal welfare professional. We will leave immediately following the public comment session.

Thank you again for your commitment. We hope to see you there. And please continue sharing the petition—signatures will be collected until January 7, 2026!
